href="http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2013/02/19/biden-double-barrel-shotgun/1931223/" target="_blank">拜登副总统的“Buy a shotgun”的号召</a>,我家买了一支泵动霰弹枪用于家防。这儿介绍一下这个枪的配置,配置的目标是让身材比较娇小的女性也可以比较容易地使用12GA的家防弹药。要不然,<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0IVSGctQIg" target="_blank">这个录像</a>上的这些状况发生在Yunyao身上就不妙了。</p> <p><strong>必备项</strong><br> <br> 1. 枪:<a href="http://www.gunbroker.com/Mossberg-500/Browse.aspx?Keywords=Mossberg+500" target="_blank">Mossberg 500</a>系列。<br> <br> * 型号,其实关系不大,有比较短的枪管就可以,这样室内舞得开。枪管太短了也不行,至少要18英寸才合法。我在<a href="http://www.big5sportinggoods.com/product/sporting-arms/478242-146882/500-12-gauge-pump-shotgun-combo.html" target="_blank">Big5 买的combo</a>,两个枪管,一个18.5英寸的用来家防,另有一个28寸的枪管,现在闲置着,以后可以打飞盘或者打猎啥的。摩丝五百换枪管非常容易。<br> * 口径,我买的最常见的12GA口径的。有人认为20GA口径的后座力要小一些,也有人认为其实没区别,还有人认为20GA感觉更疼。我没比较过,但我觉得家防还是威力更重要,就买了更大一些的12GA口径的。<br> * 装弹量,我这个枪是标准的5+1, 就是弹筒里5发,枪膛里一发。有人可能觉得这比较少,不过我觉得足够了,一般贼人最多来三人,而且用霰弹枪要养成射击中一有空歇就装弹的习惯,所以关系不 太大。<br> <br> 2. 枪的改进:主要目的是减少后坐力,同时让枪托长短可调,方便不同体型的家人使用。</p> <p><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5340/9649550823_8e1c45516d_z.jpg" alt="Shotgun stored in Shotlock" width="300" height="640"><br> a. <a href="http://www.midwayusa.com/product/677156/mossberg-heat-shield-mossberg-500-590-12-gauge-blue" target="_blank">隔热片</a>。 虽然隔热片的主要功能是防止手被枪管烫伤,但如果不连续射击很多发的话,枪管不会很烫。我买这个主要是给枪增加重量,因为越重的枪,后座力越小。摩丝的枪 闸是铝合金做的,比较轻。而这个隔热片是钢的,可以增加3/4磅的重量。从外观来看,加上隔热片的枪显得更好看一些。</p> <p><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7388/9649551843_4b6a649a32_z.jpg" alt="loadedgun" width="640" height="353"></p> <p>b. 减后坐力枪托。这样的枪托用弹簧或者液压装置来吸收一些后坐力。液压的一般非常贵(比如Mako的要两百美刀左右),我买的用弹簧的这个<a href="http://www.mcssl.com/store/8791249/catalog/product/cd9bf09c4dd041adb123298ee9003a8e" target="_blank">凤凰Kicklite的可调枪托</a>,有比较明显的减轻后坐效果,也不会向上弹打脸。这个托有手枪式手柄,有人认为和摩丝枪不太配,主要是拇指按枪保险的姿势需要调整,我个人觉得习惯了就好。这个托还自带一个可放五发的存弹器,很有用。</p> <p><br> c. 枪托垫。这是最常用的减轻后坐感觉的东西了。LimbSaver是一个很受欢迎的牌子,出各种型号的可套上枪托的垫子。我买的是<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0044XE6J0/?tag=qiangyouorg-20" target="_blank">AR/M4型号的LimbSaver</a>,套在凤凰枪托上正好。</p> <p><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3792/9649552277_d0097eae1a_z.jpg" alt="loaded-gun" width="640" height="256"></p> <p href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0029M2YWE?tag=qiangyouorg-20" target="_blank">3. 锁:我用<a href="http://www.costco.com/ShotLock-Universal-Solo-Vault-Safe.product.11609953.html" target="_blank">Costco卖的Shotlock</a>。这是霰弹枪专用的家防锁。用4个按键作密码(可以有复合按键),可以很快开锁。钉在衣帽间门后的墙上,在旁边再装个自动灯,方便迅速拿枪。这个锁不防盗,只防小孩。长时间离家的话,枪还是要收起来放枪柜里。<br> <br> 4. 练习弹:<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0029M2YWE?tag=qiangyouorg-20" target="_blank">A-Zoom Precision Snap-cap</a>。泵动霰弹枪用这样的练习弹可以训练正常装弹,战术装弹,上膛,击发,退壳,退弹,等等所有用枪需要的动作,买练习弹是非常必需的。我买了八发,除了自己练,也让Yunyao练习。<br> <br> 5. 家防弹:家防弹需要有比较好的停止力,也就是需要在最短时间内消除威胁。FBI研究表明一号鹿弹(#1 buckshot)是最有效的家防或者执法霰弹。一号鹿弹含15或者16颗小铅丸,穿墙能力不是太强,但对肉体的毁伤能力很强。这种弹不是很常见到,但在 网上是能买到的,一般一发要一块多美刀,见到便宜的应该买一些来屯着。我的主要家防弹种是<a href="http://www.ammunitiondepot.com/Federal-Premium-LE-Tactical-12-Ga-00-Buckshot-p/le1321b-a.htm" target="_blank">Federal LE132-1B</a>。注意一号鹿弹的后坐力比slug和#00的鹿弹都大,比鸟弹大很多。不过经过上述对枪的改装,Yunyao也能打了一号鹿弹了。<br> <br> 6. 擦枪工具:<a href="http://www.amazon.com/Hoppes-Cleaning-Gauge-Aluminum-Clam/dp/B0013R89DO/?tag=qiangyouorg-20" target="_blank">Hoppes 12 GA Shotgun Cleaning Kit</a>, $12.<br> <br> <strong>可选项</strong><br> <br> 1. 战术电筒:晚上黑暗的时候用,比如贼人切断电源的情况下。电筒的强光也可以晃贼人眼睛。另外看清目标再射击是很重要的。<br> <br> * 战术轨。需要这个来给枪装副件。我用的这个<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0041FPG40/?tag=qiangyouorg-20" target="_blank">Laserlyte Shotgun Tri Rail Mount</a>, 套在弹筒上(用隔热片的话,可以和隔热片一起装枪管上)。<br> * 电筒装具。有很多选择,牢靠,轻,就很好。我买了个<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002ZYRV2E/?tag=qiangyouorg-20" target="_blank">很便宜的</a>.<br> * 电筒。支持国货,Fenix的电筒很棒,非常亮。我用的<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003EGGY70/?tag=qiangyouorg-20" target="_blank">Fenix TK11</a><br> <br> 2. <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002INN3G/?tag=qiangyouorg-20" target="_blank">HiViz sight</a>:霰弹枪也是需要瞄准的,这个让对准目标更快,瞄准更容易。</p> <p><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3749/9649552391_a6099413fb_z.jpg" alt="gunlight" width="640" height="371"></p> <p>3. <a href="http://3gungear.corecommerce.com/Shotgungear/Side-Saddle/7-Shell-Side-Saddle-p24.html" target="_blank">Velcro Side Saddle</a>:&nbsp;&nbsp;为 了提高携弹量,很多霰弹枪都装有侧鞍(Side Saddle)。但装了固定侧鞍的枪就放不进Shotlock家防锁了,我的解决办法是用尼龙搭扣来固定侧鞍。枪机侧面固定贴上尼龙搭扣的毛的一面,装好 弹的侧鞍就放在枪附近,枪从锁里取下来后,随便就把侧鞍贴在枪上。我这个侧鞍装七发,枪托上装5发,枪筒里5发,枪膛空着,枪上一共就带弹17发。</p> <p><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7445/9652787380_86ce06a889_z.jpg" alt="sidesaddles" width="640" height="408"></p> <p>4. 枪带: 有很多人觉得家防枪不用枪带,但我觉得还是有用的。主要是枪挂身上可以腾出手来抱小孩,拿东西啥的,而且可以防止贼人把枪抢走。我用<a href="http://www.amazon.com/Magpul-MAG503-BLK-MS3-Sling-Black/dp/B005HJ99G0/?tag=qiangyouorg-20" target="_blank">猫扑的MS3两用枪带</a>,可以单点或者两点挂枪任选。<br> <br> * 易拆枪带扣。我用的<a href="http://www.gggaz.com/mossberg-500-quick-detach-sling-attachments.html" target="_blank">GGG的单点QD</a>。</p> </div></div> <section> <h2>Add new comment</h2> <drupal-render-placeholder In summary,&nbsp;"No one leaves dirty diapers in a guest bathroom. " &nbsp;Had my guest &nbsp;know and follow this protocol, I would not have to deal with the smelly trash can problem in the guest bathroom! <br></span></p> </div></div> <ul class="links inline"><li class="comment-add"><a href="/blog/2013/01/my-first-encounter-dirty-diaper#comment-form" title="Share your thoughts and opinions." hreflang="und">Add new comment</a></li></ul><section> <a id="comment-78"></a> <article data-comment-user-id="0" class="js-comment comment"> <mark class="hidden" data-comment-timestamp="1361948676"></mark> <footer class="attribution"> <article typeof="schema:Person" about="/user/0"> <div class="field field--name-user-picture field--type-image field--label-hidden field__item"> <img src="/sites/default/files/styles/thumbnail/public/default_images/default-user-image.png?itok=hWWOuuKw" width="100" height="100" alt="Profile picture for user Anonymous" title="Anonymous user" typeof="foaf:Image" /> </div> </article> <div class="comment-submitted"> <p class="commenter-name"> <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.lilbabycakes.com/" lang="" typeof="schema:Person" property="schema:name" datatype="">Zoey</a> </p> <p class="comment-time"> Wed, 02/27/2013 - 07:04 </p> </div> </footer> <div class="comment-text"> <div class="comment-arrow"></div> <h3><a href="/comment/78#comment-78" class="permalink" rel="bookmark" hreflang="en">Dirty diapers are a real</a></h3> <div class="content"> <div class="field field--name-comment-body field--type-text-long field--label-hidden field__item"><div class="tex2jax_process"><p>Dirty diapers are a real mess.They need to be disposed off. However, since both of us work full time, it will be a while before we can actually start the project, but being a person who loves to plan,&nbsp; I have started collecting resources to do the project frugal way already!</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">Here are the resources I have collected so far based on the main steps for the landscape projects:</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Step 1. Demolition</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">We need to get rid of some plants and get rid of the lawn. It would cost a fortune to hire professional to do all the work, especially given the size of our front yard. So my current plan is to wait for the rain and then get rid of the lawn via sheet mulch.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">This video on YouTube explains in details how to do <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PB0Ym_iXmc&amp;feature=player_detailpage">sheet multch</a>. Hopefully we don't really have to do much. We need to talk to a few landscapers to find it out. &nbsp;<strong> </strong></span></span><strong><span style="font-size: medium;"><br></span></strong></div> <p><strong><span style="font-size: medium;"> Step 4: Hardscape</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: small;">To reduce cost, we plan to keep the current hardscape as much as possible. Since both the front and back yard have been professionally designed before, this is not a bad idea for our case. We plan to paint the raised beds in dark grey to make they look more modern.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: small;">However, we still need to replace some portion of the concrete walkway. Given our zero experience with concrete, we still need to decide how to do this step in a frugal way. <br></span></span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Step 5: Plant</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: small;">For now, I am planning to buy all the plants from the nursery recommended by the designer: Capital Wholesale Nursery: <a href="http://www.capitolwholesalenursery.com/">http://www.capitolwholesalenursery.com/</a>. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: small;">The most frugal way is probably just do all the planting ourselves, as it would cost around $10 to $15 to plan one professionally. If we need things to be done faster, maybe we will hire someone outside of HomeDepot?</span><span style="font-size: small;"> <br></span></span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Step 6: Irrigration</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: small;">The most frugal way is just do all it ourselves. Fortunatelly, Huahai has already had some experience in making drip-irragation system. So he will probably be the one do all the work. :)<br></span></span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: medium;">Step 7: Pot</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">We need to buy a fancy pot as the center piece of the front yard. We will probably ask the design er for recommendation and also check out <a href="http://www.floragrubb.com/idx/index.php">Flora Grubb</a> as well.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">Some online stores that may be interesting:<br></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;"><a href="http://www.simplyplanters.com">http://www.simplyplanters.com</a></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;"><a href="http://www.goodiestore.com">http://www.goodiestore.com</a></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">If you only want to get rid of your lawn and don't care about the exact design, a cheap and easy way is probably contact guys from <a href="http://www.naturalfrontyards.com">http://www.naturalfrontyards.com</a>. But I guess that if you are just doing simply replacement, it should not cost more than 10K.</p> <p>Hope this helps and happy remodeling. :)</p> </div></div> <drupal-render-placeholder callback="comment.lazy_builders:renderLinks" arguments="0=55&amp;1=default&amp;2=en&amp;3=" token="OyaawYTpBpmKJ7jw5DtLL8rjasH4FeWTSwghGoJxP1o"></drupal-render-placeholder> </div> </div> </article> <a id="comment-72"></a> <article data-comment-user-id="0" class="js-comment comment"> <mark class="hidden" data-comment-timestamp="1358314980"></mark> <footer class="attribution"> <article typeof="schema:Person" about="/user/0"> <div class="field field--name-user-picture field--type-image field--label-hidden field__item"> <img src="/sites/default/files/styles/thumbnail/public/default_images/default-user-image.png?itok=hWWOuuKw" width="100" height="100" alt="Profile picture for user Anonymous" title="Anonymous user" typeof="foaf:Image" /> </div> </article> <div class="comment-submitted"> <p class="commenter-name"> <span lang="" typeof="schema:Person" property="schema:name" datatype="">Alberto Dcruz</span> </p> <p class="comment-time"> Wed, 01/16/2013 - 05:43 </p> </div> </footer> <div class="comment-text"> <div class="comment-arrow"></div> <h3><a href="/comment/72#comment-72" class="permalink" rel="bookmark" hreflang="en">Your bathroom looks</a></h3> <div class="content"> <div class="field field--name-comment-body field--type-text-long field--label-hidden field__item"><div class="tex2jax_process"><p>Your bathroom looks beautiful!!
